What AppKittie does well

AppKittie sells one plan with everything unlocked. Its pricing page lists the same features on both billing options: App Store and Google Play data, a 4,500,000+ app database, a winning ads library, a viral videos library, a high-converting onboardings library, an ad-spend tracker, global rankings, an ASO tracker, a review tracker and 5,000 API credits a month. There are no per-seat prices or feature tiers to compare.

Its strongest differentiators are the creative libraries. AppKittie says it tracks each app’s viral videos on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts, records full onboarding flows, and estimates ad spend by country. If your plan is to copy a proven acquisition playbook rather than only to size a market, those libraries answer questions AppGazers cannot.

AppKittie also leans into AI research. Its homepage says you can connect ChatGPT, Claude and more to research apps, ads, videos, onboardings and keywords in your own language. Its FAQ adds CSV export and dashboard sharing for Pro users.

Where AppGazers fits instead

The first reason is cost while you are still deciding what to build. AppGazers is free during beta after Google sign-in, so you can check a niche, a few competitors and a keyword list before paying for any subscription. AppKittie’s cheapest route is $49 a month on a yearly bill, and its pricing page lists no free plan.

The second reason is how estimates are shown. AppGazers gives every modeled figure a period and an 80% band (P10 to P90) instead of a single number. Revenue means modeled gross in-app spend for the latest modeled month (August 2026 when checked on October 6, 2026); it excludes advertising revenue, web sales and profit. When an app is too small to model confidently, AppGazers says “under $5K” rather than inventing precision.

The third reason is the connected research path. You can filter 5.4 million listings by category, release date, growth, rating and estimate range, open a developer’s whole portfolio, compare keyword difficulty by country, read filtered reviews, and see which public Meta (EU/UK) and Google ads the same competitor is running.

  • Find rising apps with the rising and trending sorts, then save them to Your apps for alerts on chart moves, review spikes, new or stopped ads, and estimate shifts.
  • Check Google Play lifetime install brackets next to modeled monthly downloads.
  • Ask the same questions from ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini CLI through the AppGazers MCP server, without pasting an API token.

What AppGazers does not replace

AppGazers has no viral-video library and no onboarding or paywall screen library. Its only ad-spend figure is a rough Meta spend band modeled from public EU/UK reach and assumed rates, not observed spend and not a country-by-country tracker. If your decision depends on seeing every screen of a competitor’s onboarding or on knowing which country an advertiser spends most in, AppKittie covers ground that AppGazers does not.

AppGazers’ Meta coverage is limited to commercial ads delivered in the EU and UK through Meta’s official library, plus Google Ads Transparency Center creative. It is not a worldwide ad-spend panel. Its estimates are also not country-level: a country filter narrows store records, not revenue.

Same app, both tools: Cal AI

AppKittie’s homepage shows a sample card for Cal AI - Calorie Tracker with an estimated monthly revenue of $3M and estimated monthly downloads of 520K. The card does not state which month or which stores it covers.

For the iOS listing (Viral Development LLC), AppGazers estimated August 2026 gross in-app spend at about $1.7M, with an 80% band of $0.8M to $4.4M, and downloads of about 455K (band 240K to 944K). The separate Google Play listing, published by Cal AI, Inc., was estimated at about $116K ($54K to $239K). Figures as of October 6, 2026.

AppKittie’s $3M sits inside the AppGazers iOS band. The two figures may cover different months and definitions, and overlapping ranges do not show that either model is accurate. Use either number to size an opportunity, never as the developer’s reported revenue.

AppKittie pricing in 2026

As listed on appkittie.com/pricing on October 6, 2026: Monthly costs $79 per month, billed monthly. Yearly costs $49 per month, billed yearly, which the page labels 38% off. Both options include the same features and 5,000 API credits a month. The page says you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the billing period.

AppGazers is free during beta. That describes current access, not a permanent price, and the research workspace requires Google sign-in.

How to switch from AppKittie

You do not have to cancel anything to compare. Run one niche through both tools and keep whichever answers your decision.

  • Export your AppKittie shortlist to CSV and search each app in AppGazers by name, App Store URL or Play package name.
  • Add the shortlist to Your apps so AppGazers alerts you to chart, review, ad and estimate changes.
  • Rebuild your keyword list with country-level difficulty and opportunity scores.
  • Keep AppKittie for onboarding and viral-video research if those libraries change your decision.
