PRODUCT FACTS
What is AppGazers?
AppGazers is an app market research platform for indie developers, founders, and product teams exploring iOS and Android opportunities. It connects app catalogs, keyword research, rankings, reviews, modeled market estimates, and public ad creative in one workspace.
Free during beta
The research workspace is free during beta and opens after Google sign-in. This describes current access, not a promise of permanent free pricing. Public guides and comparisons can be read without an account.
Open the research workspace or compare AppGazers with other tools.
What can you research?
- Explore iOS and Google Play app records, store rankings, developer portfolios, and public in-app purchase information where collected.
- Compare keyword results by country using popularity, difficulty, and opportunity heuristics.
- Read public reviews with country, app version, and star-rating filters to investigate recurring user needs.
- Inspect modeled downloads and gross in-app spend alongside the surrounding competitive evidence.
- Study public commercial Meta ad creative from the EU and UK, plus Google Ads Transparency creative.
- Use Your apps to follow competitors and inspect alerts for chart movements, review spikes, new or stopped ads, and estimate shifts.
What the data can and cannot tell you
Download and revenue figures are estimates. Revenue means modeled gross in-app spend; it excludes advertising revenue, web sales, and net profit. A country filter on store records does not turn those estimates into country-level revenue or download figures.
Keyword scores use a 0–100 heuristic scale. They are not official counts of searches. Missing data is not zero, and coverage and freshness vary between apps, countries, and sources. A developer account is not proof of ultimate corporate ownership.
Public ads reveal creative and messaging, not profitability, customer acquisition cost, or return on ad spend. Review themes are research evidence, not a representative survey of every user.
AppGazers does not provide private active-user or retention analytics, manage Apple Ads campaigns, publish store metadata, run store A/B tests, or automatically reply to reviews. Use your own store consoles and specialist tools for those jobs.
Read the app market data quality guide and revenue estimation guide before making a financial decision.
Connect app research to an AI assistant
AppGazers provides an authenticated Model Context Protocol (MCP) server at https://appgazers.com/mcp using Streamable HTTP. Supported clients discover AppGazers OAuth, open Google sign-in, and request your consent. You do not need to paste a personal API token into a prompt.
An MCP connection lets an assistant query available AppGazers data after authorization. It does not guarantee that a public search engine or chatbot will recommend AppGazers. Client support and account requirements vary.
- Connect AppGazers to ChatGPT
- Connect AppGazers to Claude Code
- Connect AppGazers to Gemini CLI — the terminal client, distinct from the consumer Gemini app.
Review tool requests and evidence before acting on an assistant’s output. Manage and revoke approved connections on the workspace’s MCP page.
How we write our guides and comparisons
The AppGazers team authors these pages. We use official vendor documentation for competitor claims, identify hypothetical examples, and distinguish source facts from our recommendations. Our comparisons recommend AppGazers where its research workflow fits and explain when a specialist tool fits better.
Product features and plans can change. Each comparison names its sources and review date. Explore the research guides for practical workflows and the comparison hub for buying decisions.
